A VCI can't believe I agreed to do this and I can't believe I lost. I mean I've been using a Blackberry (RIMM) for almost ten years!

As many of you know and Rick points out in the comments, this was ad was created as part of a "user generated ad" campaign and the winner were some college kids who Rick says made the ad for $12. That's awesome. More on the campaign and how well it worked here.
And for those who don't have flash and can't watch this commercial (like Jackson), the ad I am referring to is the Doritos ad called Live The Flavor.

I knew it the minute Howard told me that Wallstrip was doing a show about Jack In The Box (JBX). I still have that SNL song A Dick In The Box running around in my head. That short has been watched over 12 million times on YouTube. That's impressive.
Anyway, Howard and Linsday, do the Andy Samberg/Justin Timberlake duo thing pretty well. I particularly like Howard's work on this one. He may never live it down.
"Trans Fat In The Box" - that's pretty funny

I saw this in the NY Post this morning and had to blog it.
Brad Feld has posted about tricked out toilets in the past so I figured it was safe territory for a venture capital blog.

I love UK music and UK comedians - Mike Skinner/The Streets, Arctic Monkeys, Ricky Gervais, Sacha Baron Cohen. So when the red monk tipped me off to this new artist Ali Love, I went straight to the link and clicked on it.
But you don't have to do that because I liked the video so much I posted it to YouTube. It's a story about a london street kid who takes too much ketamin and goes down the k-hole. Pretty hilarious and the music is great too. The video is a tad over 3 mins but stick around to the end. The garbage men crack me up.

The Gotham Gal and I sat through a meeting earlier this week with a good friend we are doing a business deal with and our respective lawyers.
As our friend said at the beginning of the meeting, "we'll surely end up a little less friendly by the end of the meeting".
It didn't turn out too bad, but when she saw this video, the Gotham Gal was reminded of that experience.
Here's her original post.

My friend and Alacra CEO' Steve Goldstein has a son named Joel who did a standup routine at the Improv recently. No big deal, except I think he's in 7th 6th grade. There are some good lines in here (it's about 6 mins total).

I got this delivered to me on my cell phone this morning via the Foneshow service. I listened in the car on the way back from getting bagels and was dying with laughter. Karl Pilkington is the perfect foil for Ricky Gervais.
The Podfather Part II Thanksgiving - Ricky Gervais, Karl Pilkington and Steve Merchant
Unfortunately this show is encoded in such a way that it plays weird in a flash player. So instead of clicking on the play button, you should click through and listen in a separate browser window. Be prepared to laugh hysterically.

I went to see Borat yesterday. Maybe it was because I had seen all of the funny stuff from the movie on YouTube already, but it mostly bored me.
That said, I think Sacha Baron Cohen is hysterically funny.
This video I found on YouTube (courtesy of the vodpod on this blog) cracks me up:
