Love Is A Mixed Tape
I've got this book Love Is a Mix Tape: Life and Loss, One Song at a Time on my widget on the right sidebar. It's on my "to read" list. The Gotham Gal just finished it and her review makes me want to read it even more.

Once again, you posted on a great book or band that I've read about before and reaffirmed my faith in personal recommendations from blogs and the web (the "discovery/navigation" layer).
I read a review of this book in the Washington City Paper back in January and it sounded like an amazing story. Was too busy at work to read it but I'll have to track it down now; thanks for the reminder.

Oh man, you gotta watch (or re-watch) High Fidelity if you haven't! Jack Black, Cusack, etc. So hilarious!
(I never read the book the movie was based on but I heard it was worthwhile)
