The Answer Goes West
My favorite active ballplayer is now a Nugget
What a lineup the Nuggets now have Are any of these guys stoppable?
Carmelo
JR Smith
Iverson
The Nuggets are now my favorite NBA squad
I gotta get an AI Nuggets jersey!

I stand by my recent post undaunted by this old shortie.

Carmelo and AI may well be unguardable one on one...
JR Smith is not even close. When he develops a mid range and can play team ball he may be worth mentioning. He could not score by himself regardless.
Still the Nuggets should be a blast to watch.

Not since Mutombo Mania in 93 have I been excited about my home team, fair-weather fan that I am.

The Nuggets will definately be more fun to watch, especially if they play a high tempo game like the Suns.
They trade makes Denver more competitive, but they are still only 4th best in the West.
I will take the combination of Nash, Marion, and Amare as the most "unguardable" in the league.

While AI may be fun to watch, he is the exact opposite of a team player/leader.
$20 says he never wins a championship.

This team reminds me of the Portland Trailblazers or Dallas Mavericks a few years back when they both had too mant All-Star caliber players and few dedicated role players.
I think the Nuggets will be the most feared and most entertaining team in the league.
I will definitely watch every game I can from start to finish.
They will go deep in the playoffs, but I don't think they'll win. They're in the top three on paper, let's see if it translates to the court over the long-term.

Being a long time Sixer fan (& season ticket holder), I envy the Denver fans. They are in for a real treat. The little guy plays with heart and is fearless to the hoop. He plays off the backboard on his lay-ups like few can. Iverson and Carmelo will be an offensive wrecking crew. Throw in any third player (even Howard) and he'll score a bunch of points just by being near these 2 guys.
And Iverson is a thief. Better learn to throw bounce passes because he picks off anything in the air.
