If Pigeons Are Just Rats With Wings ....
then Plaza San Marco is infested.
But I like pigeons as long as they don't mess with me.
We took a stroll through town to visit the Peggy Gugenheim Collection and the Palazzo Grassi.
We loved both of them but the Palazzo Grassi was a bit more fun for the kids. The Jeff Koons stuff was fantastic.

The City of Falling Angels by John Berendt should be required reading for anybody visting Venice. Ciao!

Sounds like you're having a blast. Looking forward to hearing more.

It´s "Piazza", not "Plaza". Plaza is spanish :)
Have fun!

one wouldn't want that wonderful koons exhibit splattered with pigeon droppings - wish we had more koons stuff over here on exhibition. love it.
in ye olde londinium's trafalgar square there has been an ongoing process of minimising the ubiquitous pigeons - it got pretty ridiculous at times. it's much more pleasant now - and a lot cleaner!
enjoy!
