A Nice Christmas Present
My Slingbox client can't connect to my Slingbox for some reason here in Italy so we weren't able to watch the Jets Miami game (it would have been a very late night anyway).
So I just went to the New York Times and found out the good news. Thanks guys for a wonderful Christmas present.

Fred, I am optimistic our Jets will make the playoffs but something scares me about the so-called "lowly" Raiders. One side of me sees them making it easily, the other side of me keeps saying SOJ.

Fred, I had no idea you were a fellow Jets fan. That makes four people I know. This didn't at all have the feel of a "traditional" Jets/Fins game. The meaning of the game (for me) came from its importance to the Jets' playoffs hopes moreso that tradition. I think the Jets will roll the Raiders, fwiw. More important is that we get a running back for next year.
