Getting Thinner
I've been playing around with my stylesheets again. I've gone back to a fixed sidebar and center column width. For now.
I am going to try a fluid center design next.
Sorry to be moving things around, but at least I am learning some CSS.

Fred-
Hope the radio in the Honda is working well. I thought I would point you toward a couple of interesting options.
1. David Crosby -"Since Then" Great book
2. www.ada-music.com the true indie label

Whatever you do, fix the Shakeshack webcam in the right sidebar, half of it is hidden. This Atlanta resident needs to keep an eye on the line there.

While you're at it, can you move any sidebar info to the end if it's being read from a mobile device?
there are usually pages and pages to scroll through in order to get to the meat. :--)
cut + paste this to view how i see this page on my mobile device - http://www.google.com/gwt/n?client=ig&u=http://avc.blogs.com/a_vc/2006/11/getting_thinner.html
Thanks!

One technique you may want to try is to set a min-width and max-width on your site. That way the sidebars are static, but your center can expand. However, you can maintain some control over it. I just put up a new style (radical) over at my site and you can stretch and shrink the screen to see how it works. It's a nice feature of CSS.

I love using comments to get a message through your defenses.
Are you in NYC the week of June 25 to meet re: feed.us?
Thanks and happy anniversary.
