Coach Jessica
Jessica, our oldest daughter, was too old to play in the GVYC league (at PS41 in Greenwich Village) this year. So she signed up to be an assistant coach. But in the first game of the year, her head coach couldn't make it.
So she got a battlefield promotion and was head coach.
It was fun to watch her handle a team.

To paraphrase John Maxwell, "you can tell the quality of a leader by the quality of the leaders he brings behind him." I too love watching my kids invest in those around them.

Maybe she can sort out Iraq next - between classes and such, maybe during the winter break.
