This place rocks. We had a killer breakfast there yesterday morning.

If you are coming to Austin, make sure to start your morning here one day.

I had the huevos rancheros and auqua fresca (watermelon). I am getting hungry just typing this.

They had a cool memorial up for Anne Richards which was nice to see. She was a great woman.

hi--don't know if you know this, but las manitas is slated for demolition to make room for a hotel complex. there is a website: savelasmanitas.org that is organizing to protest and save it. pass the word along and send a message to the austin mayor and city council. the mayor personally responded to me about this, so it's worth your time.
