Page Loading Problems (continued)
Thanks everyone for the incredibly helpful emails and comments.
I've removed the coComment widget from the blog and the page loads now in IE.
But I doubt it was coComment that caused the problem, I think they were just the victim.
The whole experience was really eye opening to me on a number of levels and has inspired a post that is begining to gel in my brain.

It may very well be cocomment. My blog is much much simpler than this site and I see the same problem.
Everything works fine with FF, but cocomment does not load with IE.
In my case, rest of the page seems to load, just cocomment does not. I had not noticed it since I don't use IE.

These problems will become much more commonplace. Snipperoo will allow you to chuck things in and out of your blog - experiment, try it out, if it doesn't work, it's history. Widget management is key to this.

Just get rid of all these widget things.
I don't understand what value they add.

Me likey the widgets - don't lose em.
Maybe not so many?
Or a separate page chock full o' widgets?
I like the sound of widget management.
