The Grey Lady Pays The Mets No Respect
This weekend the Mets swept the Diamondbacks.
And the Yankees were swept by the A's.
The Yankees, as usual, got front page sports section coverage in the New York Times paper edition.
The Mets, as usual, were buried on page three.
What's it going to take for the Mets to get equal footing in the Times sports section?

4 world championships in 5 years....26 world championships over all....4 million in attendance....something like that.

They could have a nice little steroid scandal? That would probably get the NYT's attention.

Have the Mets owners come out as Democrats. Then the Times would love them.
