El Duque!
My favorite active major league player is El Duque, aka Orlando Hernandez.
I love his high leg kick, I love his big game mettle, I love his crazy breaking stuff, I love his life story, I love the mystery surrounding his age, and most of all I love his name.
This morning I woke up to the news that El Duque is now a Met!
Awesome.

I'm a Clemmens fan personally - despite his playing for the Astros.

I don't think it will be enought to hold of the Braves.

Jason Stark reported this morning that El Duque is going to be 42 in September.
I think he's older than you, Fred.

El Duque, The Best!
Orlando Hernandez deserves a prominent place in the MLB history: the first foreign born pitcher starting for the New York Yankees in an Opener Day (2000 season), and the lonely postseason starter in get 8 consecutive triumphs! At present, the Mets pitching roster is privileged with the oustanding services of this unique competitor. For sure, El Duque is ready to get his 5th world series ring!
