Belle and Sebastian Last Night

The Gotham Gal and I went to the Nokia Theater in Times Square (nice venue never been there before) to see Belle and Sebastian last night.

They sounded just like they do on the records and I found that surprising given how great their sound is.

Highlights were Fox In The Snow and I'm A Cuckoo.

It was a late night, they didn't even go on until past 10pm. We didn't stay for the encores which was a tough call but the right one for an old man.

If you are a B&S fan, I highly recommend going to see them play live. It was great fun.

Glad you enjoyed it. I saw them at Royal Albert Hall in London a few years back and they were truly amazing.

Couldn't get reasonably priced tickets this time around though... I guess the proliferation of online scalpers is one of the downsides of Web 2.0.

By the way, Isobel Campbell (ex B&S) will be playing Joe's Pub 3/13
