Scooped On Our Own Deal by Rafat Ali

We like to keep our investment plans confidential until the deal is closed and we and the company can announce it on our weblogs.  That's how we've been doing it for the past several investments and it has worked pretty well.

Well today, we were scooped on our own deal by Rafat Ali, catching us a little off guard.

The news is that Union Square Ventures closed an investment in Feedburner today.  We've posted the announcement on the Union Square Ventures weblog.

Stay tuned for a longer post in the next couple days when we have a chance to write something thoughtful.
