last.fm player
There was some good debate in the comments section of my last.fm vs pandora post last week.
For me, its no contest.
I've been listening to last.fm neighbor radio for the last hour. I've heard probably 15 songs.
About half have been songs from artists I've never heard of. I skipped only one of them
The other half were songs I absolutely love.
Last.fm neighbor radio is awesome.

I finally thought to check out last.fm from this blog post. Thanks for reminding me.
On a cursory review, I'm quite impressed with it.
Curiously, I used the search feature to find music similar to Led Zeppelin and it returned REM's album Automatic For the People. Now, I like both REM and Led Zeppelin, but I don't see the two as being similar music.
A minor quibble. It is an impressive service.

they are similar only because a lot of the same people seem to like them both.
computers wouldn't find them similar, but apparently people do.
