You really should check out vSocial. One of the things that separates us from the other video clip sharing sites is that we provide tools to enable you to actually "do something" with video.

So, for example, in the vSocial scheme of things, this SNL clip has a meta layer than enables you to see how this clip was tagged by vSocial members, see what comments were made about it by them, and email the clip to friends in a click -- all without going to another site (that said, this metadata links back to the vSocial DB so you CAN traverse to another context like "funny" clips in a click).

Plus we provide a tool called a video roll that enables users to tell short stories using an amalgam of clips.

To get a quickie primer on this and see-touch-feel what I am talking about, check out the post I wrote on the topic called "Short attention, short conversations and video clips" (http://thenetworkgarden.blogs.com/weblog/2005/10/vsocial_video_c.html).

It has both examples embedded in the post.

DUH, vSocial's URL is: www.vsocial.com. Sorry about that.
