Delicious Rocks
I love the "play" button that delicious automatically puts on every mp3 link in delicious.
Now you can have that feature on your blog by simply putting this line of javascript in your template:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://del.icio.us/js/playtagger"></script>
I have done that on my blog and every mp3 link will now be "playable".
Check out Sunday's Positively 10th Street post or Monday's MP3 of the Week post for examples of how this works.
Thanks Dan and crew. You rock!!!
btw - this was part of a new release delicious did last night. Check out the new home page, the new popular page (with a "fresh only" option),and my new bookmark page.

I have looked at delicious in the past and could never figure out what the fuss was about. However after hearing such positive reviews of the service around the blogosphere I thought I would jump in and give it a try.
I still could not understand how a team with money (if I am not mistaken) could make such a poorly designed site (templates are only $50 now). I, like most users I assume, simply dont know what the site is or what to do when they get to the home page (I dont see anything new btw?).
Add to that the "import bookmark" feature has been disabled since I created my account with the words "back in a few days". Well that was over a week ago, perhaps they are running on Google time? That shortcoming makes the service pretty much useless for me right now.
I dont like to be negative or caustic but to me delicious seems like all (echo chamber) froth and little substance. Granted I seem to be having a very different experience than you are however.

Ian,
If you want, you could send me an email to [email protected] with your phone number.
I could call you and walk through del.icio.us over a WebEx session if you like.
I could show you how del.icio.us works over the internet using some of the new interfaces and maybe even talk a little about how these new interfaces are better than some of the others and why they work better.
