Have you ever seen litigation over a pulled term sheet? I have seen it happen once, years ago. (From the insurance side, not a deal we were involved in.) My recollection is that the term sheet was written appropriately, but the entrepreneurs expected to be funded and were not happy that the situation changed . They sued, but did not get anything. Everybody just paid the lawyers.
