Something I'd Like To See
I heard about something the other day that I'd like to see.
It was Skype running on a Nokia handset connected to a wifi network.
When the mobile carrier becomes an option for a wireless phone call instead of the only choice, then we'll have some interesting opportunities in wireless.
i've seen it, but hte handset was motorola. i've already said too much.

Never gonna happen in europe, ex telecom monopolies still command lots of power and wireless is too big cash cow to let go

OK, so it is not Skype, but if they prove the business model that is surely a good thing?
And to the original point: Skype already runs on my wifi enabled iPaq. That is good enough for now (for me).
