Mid Afternoon Blog Check
I can't take it any more. I am taking some time out of the work day to find out what's going on.
Here is what I've found out.
1) Drudge is hard to log into. But he's got a Kerry leaning headline up.
2) Talkingoints is impossible to log into.
3) Buzzmachine is hard to log into from time to time.
4) Instapundit is slow as hell.
Maybe there is something wrong with my Internet connection. I can get to Yahoo!, Google, and Amazon.
As to the question of will the bloggers leak the exit polls? Of course, they will. Wonkette already has, twice. But there are doubts as to whether they are real. The numbers look too strong for Kerry.
Drudge has got exit polls up now too.
I don't know how the major media outlets are going to sit back and take this. If the blogs are outing the exit polls, won't they have to do the same?
This is a very interesting ending to a very interesting campaign with a lot more to come.

I have been having the same issues. Even updating my blog had been taking a little longer than usual. It's very slow at work, and I'm dying for something new to blog about.

Network is behaving the same here on the Left Coast. Too many people hitting reload. Exit polls: Garbage in, garbage out.

Can't get on to Buzzmachine myself here in ATL either. Here's a thought for all of us... Why don't we go home tonight and NOT turn on the TV and spend some time with our wives, kids, and significant others.
As I stated in my earliest blog responses so many months ago, tomorrow we will all wake up with a winner decided and we will all go to work just like we did the day before and very little will change in our lives no matter who sits in the Whitehouse. I'm not being cynical, just a realist when it comes to the molasses like pace our political system actually works. For all the hot air we've blown collectively over the past 8 months I my personal happiness will not change one iota no matter who wins this election.
Good night, and good luck.

I've been having an extremely tough time accessing these same sites myself. I made a little quick script that is reloading upon error (which has been running continuously for the past 3 hours now) and can't load up Wonkette. Drudge doesn't seem to be a problem. Exit-Poll.net hasn't been working for me at all today.
