Google Desktop Search (continued)
So I rebooted my laptop and desktop search is working again.
But it is still indexing my hard drive, three days after I installed it.
That's not a great introductory experience.

Because it only indexes while your computer is idle, the initial crawl can appear to take a while. Leave your PC on overnight and it'll be done by morning.

It's just great. It indexed everything overnight. Much better introductory experience than X1.

It took two nights and weekend to index my outlook (from an exchange server, 120,000 items). My Outlook has gotten unstable now, freezing occasionally and having some Exchange items no longer being deletable or movable unless I stop and start Outlook. It could just be Outlook, but it only started when I loaded Google search. (Also, it didn't happen when I tried LookOut search a couple months ago).
