Four Music Services to Check Out
Om Malik's blog is great. Every day he's got something interesting to say.
Today he lists four music recommendation sites that I've got to check out; AudioScrobbler, Song Buddy, Music Plasma, and Music Mobs.
I've tried out TuneCircle which hasn't really done much for me.
MusicMobs has been mentioned a fair amount on my blog comments so I'll start there and also try AudioScrobbler since OM thinks its great.
Any other recommendations for recommendations?

Yeah, a few of my co-workers have been making the most of http://www.allofmp3.com/ (look for an "english" link at the top-left corner).
They charge songs for pennies, you don't actually pay per song, you pay per bandwidth usage, or something.
They offer all codecs, including lossless ones (FLAC and whatnot i think), but you do consume more bandwidth when you download less-compressed songs. It still reportedly comes at a fraction of iTMS prices.
Oh and there's no DRM. at all.
And their selection is great.
Sorry to hear about your iPod.

I've been using Musicmobs for quite a while now and it's really cool and it keeps improving. Highly recommended. I liked that Music Plasma site too.. pretty cool concept, but a bit slow..
