Blogging for the masses

I've been wondering for the past year if blogging can become a mass phenomenom or just something for those of us who've made the net such a central part of our lives.

Well, my experiment in this regard is a couple weeks old (in my case) and a couple days old (in the case of my wife).

And i've got to tell you that its more of a mass pheneomenon than i would have guessed. My wife's friends are reading her site every day. But more impressive is the fact that some guy in UK today responded to my wife's post of her grandmother's noodle kugel recipe with a question about exactly how you whisk the eggs.

That blows me away. My wife's grandmother, who passed away last year, made an amazing noodle kugel on yom kippur every year. Now someone in the UK will be sharing that same dish with his family. I love that.

I made it here in PEI, Canada -- just so I could say I did. I think I went wrong somewhere, because it wasn't as good as I had hoped.

I don't even know how I ended up adding either you or your wife to my list of blogs -- must have been late night button clicking -- but now I read you everyday. Weird feeling, I agree.

I truly ask myself .... Why do i blog ??? and does it really matter ...

i look at my blog as an expression of myself ... that if people really want to read my news and read what i think is interesting then that is truly a blessing ...I been running my personal site since i was 18 .... 5 years on now im still suprised every week by the amount of unique hits i recieve. Ive never won an award .. ive never entered in an award .Ive never asked for an award.

but i blog, because i simply choose to .... and you know what .. who ever is reading this ..... *points finger* you should blog too.

I don't know if it will ever truly be "for the masses", but I know that it's become a common thing for my circle of friends and my family to read my site. I very frequently get comments about things I posted on my site weeks ago. Just last night my dad, who I haven't talked to in about 2 weeks, said: "I read your site everyday, it's like talking to you without having to be on the phone".

Plus, i think there's a large degree of "medicine cabinet peeking" going on. We love to snoop, but hate getting caught. And blogs are way to, kind of, be snoopers without the trauma of getting busted.

I am very interested this theme, with attention I will read following informations.
Notebooki , Telewizory Lcd , dvd , kino domowe , Kamery Cyfrowe , kuchnie , ekspresy do kawy , lg , samsung , siemens , panasonic , toshiba , amica .
